#20 I explored Im Cooked.  I like it alot, I felt like I had a friend teaching me to cook.  There were many many videos to watch.  Most weren’t much longer than 4 minutes.  Some of them were boring and some were too long.   I think it could be suggested to patrons looking for a recipe.  Sometimes it’s easier to learn by watching.  I like that it offered tips for making a video.  Overall I’m going to be visiting the site often when I need cooking help.

I could see how a wiki could be used on a library

project  where many people are involved.  i like

how you can edit and still see the reedited work, too.

I hope to be involved with a WIKI someday.

#17 learnabout WIKIS,  after learning about the    m I want to plan a party and set up a WIKI to get my friends input.  I think the Nancy Pearl’s Book Lust WIKI will be a great place to read book reviews and get book club ideas.  I also liked the out of print book finder.

The book reviews in Book Lovers Wiki looked good, too.

I think I could play on the Wikihow sight all day, so many things interested me there, for home and the library.  I could see using it for story hour projects such as building a butterfly house and gardening projects.

The WikiIndex was interesting and very helpful.  There are so m,any Wikis out there, I wonder about how to find the right one for what you are looking for.  I think this index will help.

library thing looks very interesting.  I often am confussed about the where abouts of a book.  Sometimes I think it’s in the libraries collection and it’s really my personel book,  this is going to be fun.

avt_saradakin_mediumJanuary 23, 2009,  I have been working on Vermont’s 23 things for weeks now and haven’t gotten very far, but I am enjoying it.  I had fun with Flickr Fun, playing gerbil suduko and making a mag. cover with my kids picture.  For the cover I had to learn how to use a zip drive, we don’t have high speed internet at home, I ‘m working at the library.   I also learned about Google Reader, I haven’t used it yet, but I will.  It sounds very helpful.   I have also started a Facebook page, that has been fun, keeping in touch with far away friends.   I have one hour to learn something new, so I’m off.

It took me half an hour, but I managed to make an avatar and with a bit of help posted her.  Isn’t she cute?  If only I looked so good.

Hello world!
